               Using Adobe Myriad with LaTeX

The font family Adobe Myriad is assigned the name "pmy".
Besides, the condensed fonts of this family are available as
a family of its own, named "pmyc".  Using the condensed
fonts does not require that you have installed also the
regular ones.

|  Notice that Myriad is supported with T1 (european) and
|  TS1 (textcompanion) encoding only, so you should issue
|  the commands
|
|    \usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
|    \usepackage{textcomp}
|
|  in the document preamble.  The obsolete OT1 encoding,
|  which is still the default with LaTeX, is _not_
|  supported.

Supported encodings are T1 (Cork) and TS1 (text companion).
Only those text companion (TS1) symbols, that are also part
of the ISO-Adobe character set, are available, plus a 
faked \texteuro symbol.

Im comparison with Adobe's original font metrics, the
interword space has been enlarged to 208 units in the
Headline and Condensed fonts and 287 units otherwise.
